Kadek, known to the families she works with as Udi, has looked after visiting and resident families' children in Bali for over 15 years, mostly in the resorts and villas of Legian, Seminyak, Nusa Dua and Sanur. She founded Bali Bloom Day Care so that families could book her, and the carers she trusts, through one reliable place.
Parents describe her the same way again and again: bubbly, patient, endlessly warm with children and quick to send a photo so you can relax. She takes babies and toddlers in her stride, is happy in the pool, and is the reason more than one family has rebooked before their next flight was even chosen.
Kadek interviews every carer who joins the team herself, matches each booking personally and is the person you message on WhatsApp.
