Kids' activity days out with a nanny
Some days the kids want a water park and you want a pool lounger. Our activity days give the children a full day of Bali adventures with a nanny who knows the island, while you have a day of your own.

Days out the kids will talk about for years
We plan the day around your children's ages and interests. Favourites include Waterbom Bali in Kuta, Bali Safari and Marine Park and Bali Zoo in Gianyar, the Ubud Monkey Forest and rice-terrace walks, Bali Bird Park, calm-water beach days at Sanur or Nusa Dua, Finns Recreation Club in Canggu, kids' cooking and silver-making classes, and gentle surf lessons for older children.
Your nanny stays with the children the whole time, handles sunscreen, water, snacks and toilet stops, keeps you updated with photos, and brings them home at the agreed time, usually asleep in the car.
Transport and costs
We arrange a private car and driver for the day, with child seats on request, so the nanny can focus on the children rather than the traffic. You pay the nanny's day rate plus the car and any entry fees and meals at cost, with the plan and the estimated costs agreed with you beforehand.
Parents are always welcome to come along for part of the day, or to meet the children at the end of it for a sunset ice cream.

Kids' Activity Days: your questions
What age do children need to be for an activity day?
Activity days work best from about three years old, when children are happy to be out all day with a nanny. For younger children we suggest a shorter half-day outing, or a beach or pool day closer to your villa.
Is Waterbom Bali suitable for young children?
Yes. Waterbom in Kuta has shallow pools and a kids' area for toddlers and young children as well as the big slides for older kids and teens, with gazebos for shade. The larger slides have height restrictions, so tell us your children's heights and we will plan the day so nobody is disappointed.
Do you arrange transport for activity days?
Yes. We book a private car with a driver we know, with child seats on request, so the nanny can give the children her full attention. The car is charged at cost on top of the nanny's day rate.
