Holiday Babysitting

Holiday babysitting at your villa, hotel or the beach

A few hours to yourselves, or a whole day of it. Our babysitters come to wherever you are staying in Bali, settle in with the kids and let you enjoy the island the way you remember it, before children.

  • Babies to teens
  • From IDR 100,000 an hour
  • Villas, hotels and resorts
  • All of Bali

Babysitting that fits around your holiday

Book a sitter for a morning surf lesson in Canggu, an afternoon at a Seminyak day spa, a sunset at Uluwatu or a long lunch in Ubud. We cover anything from a three-hour minimum booking to a full day, and we can come back every day of your stay if you like having the same familiar face.

Your babysitter arrives at your villa or hotel ready to play: beach buckets, drawing, books, games and the pool (with you setting the rules). Nap times, snacks and routines are followed exactly as you describe them, and you get a message if anything comes up.

Who looks after your children

Every babysitter is a Balinese or Indonesian carer we know personally. They speak good English, have real childcare experience (many are mothers themselves, or have worked in villas, resort kids' clubs or international schools), and complete BIMC Hospital's basic life support (CPR) course before their first booking. We only send people we would leave our own children with.

We match the sitter to your family: a sitter who is confident with newborns for a baby, an energetic one for boisterous boys, and someone calm and patient for a shy toddler. If you are staying for more than a few days, we keep the same sitter with you so the kids build a bond.

Holiday Babysitting: your questions

How much notice do I need to book a babysitter in Bali?

We can often place a babysitter with 24 hours' notice, and sometimes the same day, but during the peak months of June to August, Christmas and Easter we recommend booking a week or more ahead so you get your first choice of sitter and times.

Will the babysitter come to my hotel or villa?

Yes. Babysitters come to you anywhere in Bali, including private villas, hotels and resorts in Seminyak, Canggu, Kuta, Legian, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Sanur and Ubud. Most hotels are happy for an external babysitter to look after children in your room; we can speak to the front desk if needed.

What is the minimum booking?

Five hours for babysitting, day or evening. Full days are 8 hours, the holiday nanny package covers 5 or more days with the same carer, and live-in nannies are booked per night from 5 nights.

Do your babysitters speak English?

Yes. All of our babysitters speak good conversational English as well as Bahasa Indonesia, and many speak Balinese. Several also speak some Mandarin, Japanese or French; tell us if a particular language matters to your family.
